Community Engagements

Electoral Area B residents are invited to provide input on the Recreational and Parks master plan.  Thank you to those who completed the survey. We appreciate your input.

Join us at the Gabriola Community Hall from 11am-3pm to share your thoughts and ideas about recreation and parks in EA B. -Thank you to those who joined us at the Open House. We enjoyed meeting with you and appreciate your input. 

Watch for a future open house once the draft plan is completed-  early 2024. 

Representatives from user groups have been invited to participate in a workshop to have further discussion on major themes such as water accesses, trails and recreation which are the key topic areas the master plan will need to provide guidance on.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the workshop. It was great to hear more detailed input.

The next public engagement session will be in April 2024 where the community can review the draft master plan.
