The City of Nanaimo and Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) are seeking local neighborhood teams to sign up as volunteers for the Acting for Climate Together (ACT) initiative. The ACT initiative inspires, educates and encourages existing groups (such as neighbourhood associations, community groups, sports teams and businesses), and individuals looking to form new groups, to work together to take action. Participants will meet with City of Nanaimo/RDN staff on a recurring basis to discuss their neighbourhood projects and receive feedback and support.
