• RDN Board Gives 1st and 2nd Reading to Bylaw Amendments

  On April 28, 2020, the RDN Board gave 1st and 2nd reading to amendment bylaws 1620.06 and 500.429. These bylaws make changes to the Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area A Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1620, 2011 and the Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Bylaw 500, 1987.   The bylaws have now been referred to First Nations, agencies and local stakeholders. After reviewing responses, the RDN Board may give further readings and schedule a public hearing.
