Many of you expressed disappointment that the shoe was not in its' place at Wildwood Community Park this past weekend. We apologize! A concerned resident hadn't heard of the Golden Shoe Hunt and thought it was garbage. Rest assured we've put the shoe back, although maybe not in the same tree, and it's there for the hunting.
For those of you who went out, and let us know the shoe was missing or marked the spot on the map with a note - THANK YOU! You are all entered into the draws for prizes, as you were definitely in the right place. For those of you who went out, didn't find the shoe but haven't been in contact, please comment on this page, or send us an email at goldenshoe@rdn.bc.ca and we'll make sure you're entered into the draws.

This community park in EA C used to be a home
with chickens, cattle and sheep.
The couple who lived there also planted beautiful trees;
we suggest you take a peep.
You won’t have to look far for the shoe
In the tree that is not new.
*Don't forget to take a picture of the shoe! Submit here or tag your social media with #goldenshoehunt2022 to be entered for prizes. Prizes will be drawn after the May long weekend, giving plenty of time to get out and find the shoes!

This park was named in consultation
With the Snaw-Naw-As First Nation.
The name of this beauty means “Seal Rock”
And makes for a lovely place to walk.
Near one of the benches with a view
Is where you can look and find the Shoe.
