We left the shoes out for one more weekend...because people just kept hunting! Thank you to everyone who hunted, and put their pin on the map or shared their adventure with us. We've drawn four winners and will be contacting them this week to arrange pick up of their RDN prize pack.
Congratulations to: Tenille, Chaput, The Thornes, and The Dutton Family! You were all drawn randomly from all the entries here on our Get Involved page. Please contact us via message here or to cfinnie@rdn.bc.ca or give us a call at 250-248-4744 ext 3607 to arrange pick up of your RDN Prize Pack.

This northern trail is a dream to walk, run or roll;
It is accessible for all to go for a stroll.
Just as before keep looking up in a tree,
as that is where the shoe will be.

This Great trail
can get you across Canada no fail.
Make the Hunt an Extension of your day
As you view the abyss along the way.
Please note: this trail is not stroller accessible; wear good running or hiking shoes and stay on the trail, 2m apart from other groups.

You’ll find a lot “Moore” than the shoe when you explore here.
Take a trail to the meadow to find the shoe in a tree (again) near.
For this one, please leash your dog if you bring them, and take some time to explore the rest of the park; there is so much here to see! Please respect physical distance (at least 2m) and try to explore in quieter times if possible.

This week's shoe is hidden along the path to a beautiful spot. Please don't forget:
- to observe physical distancing of at least 2m when meeting others on the trail
- DO NOT touch the shoe
- take a picture and post it here or put a pin on our map
- make sure you are prepared before heading out with good shoes or hiking boots and everything else you may need.
Clue #3
The shoe has led you down this path before
to see the waterfall and so much more.
Park at Creekside and take a hike;
get a pic of the shoe and make it a day if you’d like.
*The golden shoe should be easily spotted up out of reach along the trail close to the destination.

There are a few entrances to this park
Men like William or Harry might go on a lark.
Follow the road down from Allsbrook
to find the shoe and take a look.
On foot or on a bike
make your way to this tree any way you like.
This week's shoe is hidden again on a wide trail with lots of room for physical distancing at least 2m from other park users. There are many smaller trails that you can explore within the park, with bridges and stairs. Please remember to step off of path to allow others to pass and when meeting others at bridges or stairs take turns and use one at a time in order to leave enough distance between you.

We will share our weekly clues, tips and more here.
April 9, 2020
The first shoe has been hidden! Some very important reminders for all of you before heading out to hunt:
- Hunt only with those in your own household.
- Avoid crowds - if you are able to hunt for the shoe during the week or during times that are less busy, please do.
- As you explore the trails and hunt for the shoe be sure to maintain a minimum 2m distance between yourself and any other trail/ park users. Take turns on bridges and stairs, and step off the trail to allow others to pass if the trail is not wide enough to keep the 2m distance.
- Don't touch the shoe! Each shoe will be hidden in a place where you can see but not touch. Take a picture and share, or just sign into our guest book or map to be entered into our draw for prizes.
Clue #1
Start at the parking lot by the spring wood
and walk the trail across the first rail.
Look up into the trees on the right for the shoe
and stay 2m apart from others too.
