Upcoming Committee and Board Consideration of Draft Manufactured Home Park Tenant Assistance Policy


The Electoral Area Services Committee (EASC) will consider a report regarding the draft Manufactured Home Park Tenant Assistance Policy on Thursday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m. The agenda and report materials can be viewed through the RDN's https://www.rdn.bc.ca/agendas-minutes-webcasting page.

The report seeks EASC endorsement to proceed with public engagement on the draft policy. Should the Committee support this recommendation, the report will be presented to the Regional Board on July 28, 2026, at 1 p.m.. The agenda and report materials can be viewed through the RDN's https://www.rdn.bc.ca/agendas-minutes-webcasting page. Should the Board also support the recommendation, residents, manufactured home park owners, tenants and other interested parties will have an opportunity to review the draft policy and provide feedback via the get involved page or email to planning@rdn.bc.ca or email to 6300 Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, BC, V9T 6N2.

Feedback received during this phase will be considered in the development of a final policy, which will be brought forward for future EASC and Board consideration. This future meeting will be promoted via this Get Involved Page.
