The applicant proposes to rezone the subject property from (C-1) Commercial 1 to a new zone MU-2 (Mixed Use Meadowood Village Centre 2) to add artisan studio, recreational vehicle park, and mini storage, and remove care services and a gasoline service station as permitted uses under the “Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area 'F' Zoning and Subdivision Bylaw 1285, 2002".

A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Meadowood Community Centre at 1830 Galvin Place, Qualicum Beach. All persons who consider their interest in their property to be affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in person or by written submission at the public hearing.
Following the Public Hearing, Bylaw 1285.40, 2024 will be considered for third reading by the RDN Board on November 26, 2024. The Board meeting agenda can be found here: https://rdn.bc.ca/agendas-minutes-videos(External link). The agenda is posted the week before the Board meeting.
