February 15, 2024 Update

On January 9, 2024, the Regional District of Nanaimo Board met and approved the following motion:


(All Directors – One Vote)

  1. That the Board adopt "Regional District of Nanaimo District 69 Swimming Pool Local Service Area Amendment Bylaw No. 899.03, 2023”
    Opposed (1): Director Salter

Given this approval, Electoral Area E (Nanoose Bay) residents will be included in the 2024 tax requisition for the District 69 Swimming Pool Local Service Area with all funding participants being assessed by 100% usage apportionment model.
