What's Happening on Site: Winter 2026

As of the end of January the capital project work on the former school building is complete. The focus now is systems testing and final inspection and securing official occupancy for the building.

The operating agreement between the RDN and South Wellington and Area Community Association has been drafted and is now in final review. Approval of the Agreement has to be given by SWACA and the RDN Board. Everyone involved is working towards having the Centre open to the public as soon as possible.

Please continue to respect posted signage and fencing when visiting the community park. The playground reinstall will happen in the first half of 2026.
