February 2023 Construction Update

The environmental restoration is complete. This is the final stage of the project and included planting native vegetation on the banks of the Chase River.

The facility is running well and this major refit has extended the life of this facility to serve our community reliably for many decades.

Thanks to our contractors, suppliers, engineers, and operating staff for completing this work safely and efficiently while managing flow through a temporary pumping system without any environmental incidents.
