The RDN has received a zoning amendment for the properties legally described as Lot 1, Section 13, Range 7, Cranberry District, Plan 17274. The subject property is currently zoned Residential 2 Subdivision District F (RS2F) (see Document Library), which allows a range of residential uses including Home Based Business, Secondary Suite, and one dwelling unit per hectare to a maximum or two dwelling units per parcel. The minimum permitted parcel size for subdivision is1.0 hectare.

The proposal is to amend the RS2 zone to Industrial 2 that would permit light industry, heavy equipment display, and one dwelling unit per parcel.

For the purpose of envisioning what could be constructed, the applicant has submitted a concept plan illustrating how a warehousing use could be established on the subject property.

    The RDN is in receipt of a zoning amendment for the parcel located at 1545 King Road in South Wellington. The proposal is to rezone the subject property from Residential 2 to Industrial 2.1. Please refer to the Document Library to review the draft zone.
