RDN Accessibility Feedback Form

Please be sure to review our inaugural 2023-2026 Accessibility Plan before submitting your feedback on the plan. We invite and welcome all input to help guide the RDN's accessibility and inclusion efforts moving forward. The RDN is committed to providing the highest level of public service to its residents and others and will integrate accessibility and inclusion into its employer practices, service delivery, public communications and work planning. Over the long term, this proactive approach will involve the ongoing identification, removal and prevention of barriers encountered by persons with disabilities when interacting with the RDN. If you are unable to submit feedback on the plan by completing this form or would prefer to call and provide your thoughts, please contact 250-390-4111.

Your participation in providing feedback is voluntary. If you decide to participate by completing this form, you may withdraw at any time.

The personal information you provide is collected by the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) under sections 26(c) and 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) for the purposes of engaging and consulting with the public. The RDN is using a Bang the Table engagement platform that stores the information in Canada. However, Bang the Table staff are located in the US and may access your user profile information to provide assistance at your request.

The question allows for responses using open-text fields. To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include any information that could identify you or another person. Identifying information could include a person’s name, address, email or phone number. Any personal information that is inadvertently included in the open-text response will be deleted once the results of the survey are compiled. Please note, the RDN may reach out to you via the email you provided if we have questions about your feedback and require further clarifications.

If you have any questions about the collection of your personal information, please contact Sarah Nixon at accessibility@rdn.bc.ca or by calling 250-390-4111.
