The RDN has received a zoning amendment application for a parcel located at 637, 645, 571 and 575 Cowland Road in Electoral Area H. The applicant proposes to rezone the subject property from Rural Residential 2 Zone (RR2) Subdivision District 'A' to sub-zone Rural Residential 1.6 (RR1.6) Subdivision District 'D' to reduce the minimum parcel size from 20.0 hectares to 2.0 hectares to facilitate a two-lot subdivision under the “Regional District of Nanaimo Zoning Bylaw No. 2500, 2024”.
