Draft Recreation and Parks Master Plan for Gabriola, Mudge and DeCourcy Islands

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has completed the draft Recreation and Parks Master Plan for Electoral Area B (Gabriola, Mudge and DeCourcy Islands)

This plan will be the guiding document for recreation services on Gabriola Island and parks services in all Electoral Area B (EA B). Using input received from EA B residents through open houses, a survey and other public engagement activities, the draft plan reflects the priority strategies and actions to implement over the next 10 years.

Residents of EA B are invited to review and provide comments on the draft plan by May 19, 2025 before it is finalized in the coming months.
