Phase 1 What We Heard Engagement Summary now available

The Phase 1 What We Heard Engagement Summary is now complete and available in the 'Project Documents' section of this page.

Information gained through the first phase of engagement will be used to develop a draft active transportation network plan, which will:

• identify opportunities to improve infrastructure that supports walking, cycling and other active transportation modes,
• define the proposed network structure, facility types and connections to key destinations,
• outline maintenance expectations and responsibilities associated with proposed facilities and
• recommend performance indicators to support monitoring of progress, usage and safety outcomes over time.

The draft plan will be reviewed through a second phase of engagement in September with revisions incorporated before it is finalized at the end of 2026.
