Through public input, a concept plan was developed for Jack Bagley Community Park. This plan will be implemented through a phased approach.

The first phase is now complete and includes one tennis court, five pickleball courts, a paved plaza with picnic tables, a new washroom building and accessibility improvements.

The second phase will begin in late 2024 and will include sports field improvements.

This project is funded by the Regional District of Nanaimo, Community Works Funds, and Pacific Economic Development Canada through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF).
