2023 Liquid Waste Management Plan Amendment

The RDN Board endorsed the 2023 Liquid Waste Management Plan Amendment at the November 28, 2023 Regular Board Meeting. The final plan is now available under the Resources tab. The plan has been sent to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy to request approval.

• Capture progress towards goals in the 2014 LWMP.
• Update action items in the LWMP to meet the needs and values of our communities.
• Update the timeline to provide secondary treatment at Nanoose Bay Pollution Control Centre by 2040.
• Update the list of wastewater infrastructure projects and their cost estimates
