Spencer is an awesome skier and a Leader in Training

This is Spencer. He has enjoyed SOS programs for the past few years, particularly the activities, like archery, along with the food and the people.

He said he’s learned kindness from the staff and volunteers. “If there is a problem, they will diffuse it by using kindness and letting everyone explain their story. They are just super nice.”

Spencer is currently attending the RDN Leaders in Training program and is enjoying learning how to help younger children work through their problems, among lots of other useful skills.

Now 13, Spencer has been skiing since he was about 6. Over the past couple of years, he’s been really into freestyling, doing jumps and rails. His submission for the SOS Youth Talent competition is a video of him doing some awesome tricks on the mountain!
