Thank you for Participating in our Freshwater Survey!

Between June 28 and August 2, 2021 Ipsos conducted a randomized survey on behalf of the RDN using a mixed telephone /online survey methodology. In total, 1,393 surveys with adult residents in the region were completed! This included a balance of responses from the Electoral Areas and Municipalities.

The objective of the survey was to better understand community perspectives, behaviours, and priorities concerning freshwater resources in the region. The 2021 survey will act as a benchmark against which follow up surveys can be compared to gauge change and progress.

The results from the survey will help tailor Drinking Water and Watershed Protection program implementation to best suit the needs of and address the gaps present in various communities.
