While we also take part in the traditional green activities, one of our biggest acts of going green is getting our kids out in nature to learn about the abundant flora, fauna, and geology that surrounds them and to foster a love of nature as they will become our future green stewards.

Photo Tips
- Why are we using getinvolved.rdn.ca? This application allows for thumbnails to be uploaded and easily viewed. It ensures all photos are appropriate before they are posted. And it includes a voting function that makes it possible to involve the community in selecting their favourites.
- Why does it reference 'Ideas'? We adapted the Ideas tool to support the photo contest. When it asks you for your idea and a description, give your photo a name and a location.
- Can I email my photos? Unfortunately large emails are a problem for our email system. If you are unable to upload your submission, please email us at inquiries@rdn.bc.ca.
- Don't forget to 'activate' your Get Involved RDN account. Once you register, watch for an email from the system inviting you to activate your account. Your account needs to be activated in order to upload files.
- Keep it nice! Photos that contain objectionable or inappropriate content will be removed at the discretion of the RDN.
