Nanoose Bay Waterfront Access

The Nanoose Bay Waterfront Access program is an ongoing Electoral Area E Community Parks Service program that supports public waterfront access opportunities throughout Nanoose Bay through the management of existing public water access sites located within Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MoTT) road rights-of-way.

Current Status

• The RDN is exploring the management of three existing public waterfront access sites at Dorcas Point Road, Seahaven Road, and Terrien Road.
• Proposed activities include trail maintenance, vegetation management, and trail marker and informational signage.
• The current project does not include new access points, expanded access, new recreational facilities or additional parking.
