How do we get an aquatic centre for the wellbeing of both young and old on Gabriola?
Elana asked 7 months agoThank you for your question. The desire for an aquatic facility was identified during the engagement process (Strategy 4). While it is recognized that a pool facility would be highly valued and beneficial, it is likely beyond the financial capacity of the current tax base. Within the draft plan actions (4A-C) provide some potential alternative approaches to addressing the desire for access to aquatics. Action 4D provides some detail regarding the specific challenges related to the construction of an aquatic facility.

Florence asked about 2 years agoThanks for reaching out. If you did not receive an access code we ask that you complete the "open survey". Both the "open survey" and the "coded survey" have the same questions.
Here is the link to the open survey - https://survey.alchemer-ca.com/s3/50204741/Non-Coded-Household-Survey

nickHQ asked over 2 years agoThank you for the question. The survey is just one of the engagement and research inputs that the project team will be using to develop the Master Plan.
The current version of the survey is aimed at getting a statistically representative sampling of household perspectives, so a control mechanism is needed (code on the postcard) to avoid multiple responses from one individual or interest group.
An open version of the survey will be available as of August 14th for residents that no longer have their postcard or (as in your case) wish to have multiple household members provide responses. The link to the open version of the survey will be available on the Get Involved project page on August 14th.
