Community Butterfly Project

In early 2020, The Old School House (TOSH) volunteers and community members spent countless hours making watercolor paper butterflies that were delivered to local schools. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the project had to be reimagined into the Community Butterfly Project and was hosted online with 46 butterflies submitted.

View the 2020 butterflies in the photo gallery.

The butterfly, is a symbol of transformation, from the cocoon the butterfly emerges in colourful splendor. Just like a butterfly, we too shall emerge from this unsettling time transformed.
