This local land trust group operates a stewardship centre as well as the Natural Abundance Native Plant Nursery in Cassidy. Their charitable status allows them to hold conservation covenants which protect and maintain over 1200 acres of wildlife habitat and natural lands in our region. Cottle Lake Park and Mount Benson Regional Park are just two of their achieved acquisitions; made possible by the immense support of the community. In addition to offering resources and insurance to Streamkeepers, they offer Streamkeepers Courses. With the help of volunteers, local organizations, consultants and other conservancies, they’re able to support stream restorations, contribute to water quality monitoring and many other stewardship initiatives.
