Community Watershed Monitoring Stewardship Group Profiles

The Cat Stream Streamkeepers are the newest partners in the RDN's Community Watershed Monitoring Network (CWMN), having joined in 2021! This group's focus is the monitoring and stewardship of Cat Stream within the City of Nanaimo. On top of monitoring this urban waterway, the Cat Stream Streamkeepers have also been busy with restoring the riparian area along the stream, including invasives removal and native planting efforts supported in part by RDN Stewardship Seed Funding.
